Hi, I'm Katie

I am an accredited therapist with over 25 years' experience working with adolescents and young adults as a teacher, counsellor and psychotherapist. I support my clients to overcome everyday life problems causing unhappiness or anxiety, as well as more serious mental health issues.

I have a special interest in eating disorders and hold a Master Practitioner's Award from the National Centre for Eating Disorders. My recent roles include therapist with Place2Be, counsellor with Mindworks (formerly CAMHS), and counsellor/psychotherapist at the University of Surrey.

Every therapeutic journey is different and it's not possible to say at the beginning how many sessions you'll need. I usually work in blocks of six, but there is no obligation to complete a set number of sessions.
I do not see clients with friends or relatives in the room. However, I am happy for a trusted adult to join the first ten minutes of a first session if you need reassurance.
